Welcome home! The whole family on big chair!!

About 40 hours later we left St. Joe's hospital and drove the 1.5 miles home to home sweet home!! It was great to get out of that hospital - the food was awful, the nurses were mia and the hospital bed was no big chair.

The next week it was just the three of us - Jason, Will and me. Here are some of the lessons we learned real quick:

1. Will loved his bassinet and to be swaddled up real tight

2. Walgreens has almost everything we need in a pinch - Jason went daily

3. We will be going through 10-12 diapers a day

4. When people offer to make you dinner say YES - thank you Em for all the frozen meals - AMAZING

5. We might never put Will down - Jason and I would be fighting over who's turn it was to cuddle our little buddy

6. I might not be sleeping through the night for a long time :)

It was such a peaceful week. Will loved his green nursery and we loved the rocker more! Looking back that first week seems like a blur but during that first week it seemed like the whole world stood still and the only thing that mattered was our son.
