Coolin' off in Texas

Literally that statement is true!  We cooled off in Texas.  When we went to Texas over the 4th of July it was cooler in Texas then it was in Chicago!!!  Crazy I know.  We had an awesome time - and Will was completely obsessed with Grandmommy (Barb).  I mean of course she spoiled him rotten and he basically got anything he wanted all week but he had a ball running all over that house, rolling on the carpet, swimming in her pool, watering anything in her back yard, picking her black eyed peas and swinging for HOURS!  It was a great trip and so nice to see all of Jason's family.  Here are some pictures from the trip!

It was probably 6am in this picture.  The second Will would wake up he would be knocking on Barbs back door to go out and swing.  Of course Barb would take him the second she woke up!  He was in heaven - swing swing swing!  When she would stop he would sign "more more"

I was a total sucker at the St. Louis airport and bought Will three golf balls that look like a tennis ball, football and basketball.  They actually were really cool and came in handy when Barb broke out the putting green.  Will was obsessed and played with the putter all week.  Of course he nearly killed all of us swinging that thing around but he loved it.

Best story hour I have ever been to - at the Frisco Public Library

Will getting the royal treatment with Donna reading a book during his bubba

Cooling off during a swing.  The part I didn't capture was what was really going on.  Will wanted to hold the hose and swing so what did Barb do - gave him the hose while he swing.  HAHA  it was hysterical.  The kid was in heaven

Checking out the black eyed pea crop

Barb taking Will for a run/walk

Cousins  after a swim - Colt 4, Mckenzie, 2, Will 17 months

It was actually raining so Will couldn't take the Gator for his first test drive, probably better off :)

Now this is a yard!  Will just stood there looking all over.  Poor city boy has never seen so much grass!!
